Where does my donation go?
Your donation goes to Love Wānaka, a local giving platform that raises funds and awareness for environmental efforts across the Wānaka region. Who manages the donations?
Love Wānaka colates these donations before passing them onto Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust. Every donation helps to fund one native tree.

We receive an annual donation summary from Love Wānaka, which provides details on how the funds were used and the impact we collectively made. This information will also be shared with you via our communication channels. You can also track progress on Love Wānaka’s website and social media channels.

What is Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust?
Te Kākano is a Wānaka non-profit dedicated to restoring native habitats by eco-sourcing seeds, raising seedlings in their nursery, and leading community-driven planting and maintenance efforts. They collaborate with schools, local groups, and businesses to foster hands-on involvement in land care, with regular planting sessions and maintenance to ensure long-term success. Last year alone, they planted over 5,300 native plants with the help of community volunteers.
How often are donations transferred to Love Wānaka?
The donations are collected through our booking system and transferred to Love Wānaka on a quarterly basis, ensuring a consistent flow of funds for ongoing environmental projects.
